Home | Rosary Stories

This is a very special day.  It is the first day of the month.

It is the perfect day to dedicate an hour to making rosaries, praying the rosary and giving it to someone in need.  You can even leave it at the chapel.  Some one will pick it up and pray.

Since members in this group are at a different levels, I like to start the year with the very basic, cord rosary.

Supplies:
I have a lot of supplies.  You can visit local craft shops and pick up beads.  Crucifixes can be purchased from local Catholic stores or online.  We have a few recommendation on our message board .

Video Instruction:
Our Lady of Rosary Makers has a couple of videos showing you how to make a cord rosary.

Our Own Videos:
Going forward, I will record and video tape my rosary making session, so you can see from basic cord rosary to advanced wire cutting and twisting to make one wire at a time for one bead at a time. It is fun.   It challenges us to dedicate our effort and stay focused.

For those who are locally here in the DFW area in Texas, feel free to contact me.   We can meet up at a location and make rosaries together.

I obtain my supplies from Our Lady of Rosary Maker.

We made a video.   Will post it soon.

Rosary Made, Pray and Put on Holy Mother's Hands

I made the rosary on March 1st  Monday.  I brought it wtih my on Sunday and put it on Mother's hands.  Amazing, both rosaries are still there.  I see people prayed by Mother in the garden.  I see people sat by there and looked up to Mother as to share their thoughts.  I see children running around happily in the garden. And yet, I see both rosaries are still there.  I can tell they have been taken down to pray.  Because when it is put back, it was a little tilted.  That's all right.

By the way, this same status of our Holy Mother has been prayed about by someone I personally know and personally watched her prayer answered.  Amazing where you're part of the story.  Other people reading this would say, "Yeah, right." However, if you give your prayer a good trust and faith, you might also experience the same.

"Pray.  It Works." was a big sign I saw 30+ years ago when I was lost and feeling very sad.  I was sitting on a subway training running over the outside rail in Brooklyn, NY.  As I was sitting there, on the train, deep in thoughts and absolutely lost in my troubles and concerns, worries and clueless of what's next in life, I suddenly saw this big sign as the train turning around the corner, passing a big round curve on the rail, and as it coming around the curve of this bright sunny day, I saw on the wall of a big building "Pray.  It Works" was the spark of light.

Well, guess what, I did pray.  And guess what, I'm here today, sitting heretyping up this story to share with our online community who cares to know, yes, it works.  Pray.
